Share your passion during the Olalla Lavender Festival
Thank you for your interest in our festival, a family-friendly event showcasing local agriculture, artisans, artists and businesses.
An assigned committee juries all applicants. Criteria include craftsmanship, artistic skill, originality and market enhancement/suitability.
We take great pride in featuring the best of our local community!
We are accepting vendor inquiries and class and workshop proposals for the 2024 festival.

Requirements & Rules

Participation fee is $75 for 2 days

Fresh cut lavender sales are permitted.

Lavender plant sales are permitted.

All art & craft vendors participating in the festival are highly encouraged to sell products with lavender.

Vendors must be on site and have their booths/table open during festival hours (10am - 6pm). No removal of booths is allowed during event hours or before the official closing time.

Depending on their needs, vendors will be assigned a 10x10 space, a table space or an exhibit space. All equipment are the responsibility of the vendor, we do not provide any equipment.

If the vendor uses a tent or other type of canopy to cover his space (recommended), the tent must be weighed down. This is required as a safety precaution.

Vendor sale transactions are the responsibility of each individual vendor. The festival is not responsible for merchant services or payments of vendor's goods.

If accepted as a vendor at the Olalla Lavender Festival, and need to cancel for any reason, please notify us as soon as possible so that we may contact a wait-listed vendor. Booths are non-transferable. Once accepted, application fees are non-refundable, except in the case of festival cancellation.

Notification of Acceptance

Applications will be considered in the order they are received and jurying will continue until all spaces are full. The jury meets on or near the first of each month.

Accepted applicants will be notified after the meeting in which they were juried. Artisans are encouraged to apply early, as space is limited.

Applications that are received after all spaces are full will be wait-listed.

Applicants full participation fee payments will be required at the time the notification of acceptance is notified.
Shared Marketing
There are several ways we can help each other to promote the Festival and your participation.
Website

We will be listing all vendors on the Olalla Festival website for one year with a brief description, pictures, and a direct link to your website and contact info if requested.

If you have a website, please add a post or mention about your participation in the Olalla Lavender Festival and refer to our website for information.
Social media​

We will create at least one post and one story for each participating vendor/artist/teacher on our Facebook and Instagram pages. If you have a Facebook page, make sure to provide the link in your application.

Please like our Facebook page.

We will be posting on our Facebook page often leading up to the event. Please do the same on your social accounts. People need to be reminded more than once of your participation in the event.

If you have social media accounts, please refer to the Festival website and/or share the posts on our pages to your account.

Please like our Facebook page. If you have a Facebook page you would like us to like and share, please provide the link on your application.
Old fashioned marketing (but most efficient!)

One of the most effective marketing strategies is word-of-mouth. So remember to strike-up conversations about the Festival and your participation as often as possible.
